Viennesi are a Babbi icon: created in 1958 from a brilliant idea by Grandfather Attilio, they combine the crispness of thin wafer layers with the softness of a delicate cream, all coated in a fine layer of chocolate. Every stage of production is handled in-house: from preparing the wafer – using the same recipe preserved since the 1950s – to making the cream and applying the final coating.
The original version, Viennesi Classico, pairs dark chocolate coating with vanilla cream. Over the years, two variations have joined the traditional recipe: Viennesi Fondente, with dark chocolate cream, and Viennesi Pistacchio, with pistachio cream and white chocolate coating.
