Vegan Pistachio and Pear Cake

Ingredients

  • 200 g type “1” flour
  • 100 g natural brown sugar
  • 100 ml rice drink
  • 40 ml seed oil
  • 50 g Pasta di Pistacchio Babbi Home Bakery (pistachio paste)
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio granules
  • 1 large kaiser pear

Preparation

  • Pour the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
  • Add the soft margarine and mix.
  • Add the rice drink and Pasta di Pistacchio Babbi Home Bakery (pistachio paste).
  • Grease and flour a 22 cm diameter baking tray and pour in the dough.
  • Cut the pear into slices and place them in the dough in a radial pattern.
  • Complete with pistachio granules.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
  • Allow the cake to cool before removing from the baking tray.
