Pistachio filled biscuits

Ingredients

  • 150 g Italian “00” flour
  • 50 g pistachio flour
  • 75 g butter (cold)
  • 75 g icing sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Cremadelizia Pistacchio Babbi

Preparation

  • Combine the flour and cold butter cut into cubes in a mixer. Blend with the blades to obtain a sandy texture.
  • Add the sugar, pistachio flour, egg, baking powder and salt. Knead for a few more seconds to mix the ingredients well.
  • Transfer the dough onto the work surface and knead it quickly with your hands to obtain a soft and compact dough.
  • Wrap it in cling film and leave to harden in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough and fill the biscuits with a teaspoon of Cremadelizia Pistacchio Babbi
  • Bake for 13 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°.
