A great enthusiast, he joined Cast Alimenti as an assistant to master gelato makers and confectioners; after following master Igino Massari, he became Maestro Gelatiere.
Gabriele is also a founding member of the UMGA association of master gelato makers.
Gabriele Carosi became passionate about traditional Italian gelato in 1988, when he opened a traditional Italian gelateria with his sister, in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP), IL GELATIERE di Carosi, and then a business for traditional and semi-industrial production of gelato and cold pastries: MILLEDOLCI, in Cupra Marittima (AP).
Very prepared for training and starting up traditional systems (vertical and horizontal), but also highly prepared and competent to provide training in semi-industrial plants.
Since 2008, he has been part of the national steering committee of Confartigianato gelato makers, where he participated in the drafting of the specification for the “Traditional Italian Gelato” brand. Gabriele actively provides training in collaboration with Loris Molin Pradel.
