Best Before Date
All Babbi Wafer-based specialties have a Best Before Date of June 30th, regardless of their production date. Why?
First of all, the BBD is not an expiration date—it means “Best Before” and is an indication provided by Babbi to ensure that customers can enjoy the product at its best, with all its original sensory qualities.
During summer, in fact, as temperatures rise, the product may undergo thermal shock if not properly stored, and this could compromise its distinctive crispness. For this reason, Babbi prefers to protect the consumer and guarantee a product that is always fresh and properly preserved, by withdrawing it from the market after June 30th.
