Gelato Week Germany 2025: the most delicious event dedicated to artisanal gelato is back!
Following the huge success of previous editions, the Gelato Week Germany returns this year as the most anticipated event for lovers of genuine artisanal gelato. Babbi, a leading company in ingredients for artisanal gelato and pastry, proudly sponsors this important event. From Thursday, May 8 to Wednesday, May 14, 2025, some of the best artisanal gelaterias in Germany will offer a special, unique flavor at the symbolic price of 1.50 euros per portion.
The Gelato Week Germany was created to highlight the exceptional quality of artisanal gelato, made using carefully selected ingredients and innovative techniques. After four successful local editions in Berlin under the name Berlin Ice Cream Week, the event expanded nationwide in 2024 and has since become a national highlight.
Among the most surprising flavors from past editions are bold creations like:
- Bruschetta al Pomodorino: Burrata gelato with caramelized cherry tomatoes and olive oil bruschetta;
- Orient Express: Almond gelato with orange, figs, and pistachios;
- Made in Sicily: Pistachio and ricotta gelato with mandarin sauce and cannolo pieces;
- Red Brownie: Dark chocolate gelato with wild berry crumble and toffee mou;
- Biancaneve: White chocolate gelato with pomegranate and dark chocolate.
Once again, creativity and originality will be at the forefront, making every tasting experience unique and unforgettable.
To engage even more people, the Gelato Week Germany will be accompanied by a major advertising campaign, a stamp competition, and an Instagram challenge to share the most delightful moments and win exclusive prizes.
Participation for gelaterias is entirely free. Additionally, special Get Togethers have been organized to optimally showcase their specialties and personally meet event partners:

- April 17: Düsseldorf Schlossallee 1 (Nordrhein-Westfalen)
- April 22: Geisenheim University (Saarland, Rheinland-Pfalz, and Hessen)
